My first CFL grow!!!

so this is my first grow and im a little late posting my thread. i first started with a bag seed that i got from some bomb bud. i was interested to see if it would germinate.i put it in toilet paper and it worked .these are pictures a couple days after it sproted which was after xmas buy a couple days. in one of the pictures youll see i made the first mistake of not having it close the the light. once i seen it grew i new this should be my first grow as a test. cleaned out my closet and made a little grow room. i first started with 4 3500 k cfls . then doing some reading got 6500 k 75 watt bulbs. and it went from there. i read on this site everyday and advise people to do the same( you will learn lots.... i promise! ) i will keep posting and let people know how thingss are going . any comments or help would be great thanks.

here are some pics of my plant on the 5th sunday. on the 4th i potted it into some soil.with having more light and soil you can see how it really took off. i also baruied the stem into the soil so it wasnt too tall and break. im using a good soil mix of perlite .vermiculite and peat moss and some other.

so today is the ninth and i have pics from the 6th to show you. like i said i was late on posting everything. the first 4 pics are from the the 6th of jan. i moved the lights up and the plant up to them. also moved to a bigger pot so i wont have to repot later. then the next 3 pics are from the 7th ... it looks so nice. finally the last pics are today .. youll see its bigger and better. and lights are brighter.

good looking hope you have a fan in there giving indirect air flow to the plant and getting stem to be nice and strong other than that looks good gl

so i went to take a new pic of the plant but my cam is dead . all is ok so far ... my plant is exactly 14 days old and wondering when i should introduce nutes and how often to water and how much. pics later today.

SO HERE ARE THE PICS I SAID I WOULD PUT UP TODAY.oops cap lock was on. i also have 3 other seeds germinating the last 2 days . 2 have cracked and sproted tap roots. one of them was long enough to put in soil . just want to make sure i get a female . my plant growing in the pics is sour sage. the other seeds are unknown. and i have a feeling the others will catch up to this plant because she didnt have the light these little guys will! and im not going to let there stem stretch like in my very first pics.lol

things are looking pritty good, if i could give you advise, more light, and i think you may be reading the erong wattage on the bulbs the lower number is the acual watts the higher number is the incondesint equivalent, also put a fan in their, put up some reflective somthing, mylar, emergancy blanket, white paint, ece... also as i said more light. about the nutes what nutes are you going to be using and i started about 3 weeks in 1/2 strenght than worked my way up, hope this helps

haha ya everything is white . i have 4 15 watt 6500k and two 13 watt 3500k.and yes i have a fan. im not going to use nutes till maybe next watering at 1/4 strength. thanks yall.!!!! are your 20 w ....hey tyrent2000 what are the 20 watt cfls u r using equvilent to? yeah i need a couple more 6500k bulbs in there.

so here is a couple pics of some really fruity smelly weed. its called something like heavy duty tooty fruity ? i opened a bud so u could see inside. then i have another bag seed that just sprouted in some soil. and two more in tp that are almost ready. my plant is doing very well and has grown some more. i really want to add more lights . is it ok to put a y light splitter into another y. so instead of getting 2 light in a splitter i get 4 ... is that safe .?

the bulbs i have are 3 42watt (150 watt equivelent but that number like i said dosnt really matter) and 2 24 watts witch are like 100watt equivelants. so i have like 174 accuall wattage in my fridge in a 2 sq feet area you have a little more room for light to get lost , the grow is lookin great, the y splitters have a watt rating on the side just dont go over that and you can connect them together all day long lol just dont go crazy and put like 50 of them together(i dont think you would do that but iv seen people try), at one point i was growing in a wordrobe and i used those y splitters exatly as you explained. that nug looks pritty good i just got a premo sack yesterday and some of the best hash ever,happy smokin

sorry about the fan thing too its like i didnt even look at the pics lol i looked everything through again and well i cought the giant fan lol so disregard that part as well,:bigjoint: do you have a temp/hum gadge of some sort (or did i miss that too lol) and what are your temps?

hey dont feel bad tyrent2000 im an idiot too. k i looked at my lights again .i went and got two more cfls so i have 4 at 20 watts and two at 15 all 6500k think this is enough?i cant find anything over 20 watt cfls that are 6500 k. i usually find
higher watt bulbs but there only the 3500 k ones . i really want what u got but hard to find ... what kind of stores carry those .... walmart ,kents building supplies, and crappy tire dont. or home depot. oh and the temp is always 75.
