My first grow...All input appreciated

I saw a video series on how to construct a stealth grow box which inspired me to attempt to construct my ver own. This is what I have come up with DSCN0465.jpg

It is equipped with a 4 inch in line exhaust fan as well as intake fan, 150 watt HPS light manufactured by floralux. It is lined with 97 percent reflective material that has a pounded hammer finish. It runs at about 80 degrees.

I would like much input on how well you all think this may work. I plan to put 4-6 plants in here and switch them to flowering when they are about 8 inches tall ( I have about 21 inches of available vertical growing space.)

I am on a budget and I would like to deal with realtively affordable nutrients. Also I have heard a succesful grow is possible with 2 or 3 nutrients. Right now I am not in a position to spend hundreds of dollars on nutrients so I was wondering if there was like on for veg and one for flower I could get or a do-it-all nutrient. I also have access to compost including apple cores, banana peelings, used coffee, and used tea. IDK if that is good for pot plants or not.

Like I said, this is my very first grow ever. I am dumbfounded when It comes to the type of soil, additives, and nutrients that I will need. Right now I have two seeds germinating in wet paper towels in a dvd case. My next step is to purchase some soil I suppose. From what I have read I am wanting to mix half fox farms ocean forest and half fox farms light warrior. Any objections? Anything else I should combine with the two types of soil such as lime or perlite or anything? I have so many questions about growing. Please help! Every bit of useful information will help!

Thanks in advance RIU community

And yes That is a mini cactus in there right now lol. I just wanted some kind of plant in my box until I get my soil and stuff.

Thanks man, I will check in to thos nutes. With the perlite should i sprinkle some on top or a layer at the bottom or just mix it all in or what? I plan on using 1 gallon pots for my entire grow unless this is a bad idea. I am just so confined for space I dont want huge pots. Just huge buds

i have 2 examples in my current grow. Limited Strain Training - basicly using string er whatev to tie down and or pull branches in the directions you want, exposing more of the plant to the light. and yes topping them with LST go hand in hand.
