MY FIRST GROW - Jan - sep

Hello RIU,
This is my first grow, and its gonna be fun, for me and for everybody, after all this is what its all about, right, fun! (and ganja )

i got WW seeds from www.cannabisseeds.com they are VERY cheap and they deliver, (lol my grandma opened them before me).

PLAN:
after reading the thread about feb to may harvest i got an idea from the other tokers there and here it is:

1. i put the seeds in germination 3 days ago and today they showed good healthy tiny roots, i am moving them to cups tonight with some good soil.

2. my plan is to grow them under CFL till they are 6" tall and then start giving them sun as much as possible (we are getting VERY good sun here in the middle east).

3. i am gussing that they will grow enough by the begining of march to start thinking about cloning.

4. since i have 5 seeds, i am guessing 3 will be ready for cloning at least, the ones i wont clone, will go outside to the garden and grow them in the land.

5. the others, i will put in 6 gal pots and grow them on the roof with a 2 stage nut plan.

6. by the begining of may i will have three 3 month old moms and some good clones, and of course the tough guys outside.

7. i am guessing of having a total of 12 good plants to harvest by the end of september.

this is the general plan. my approach is to create a good margain for error, after all its my first grow. and i dont care about a good yeild, i just wanna see em grow healthy hehe.

before i start the journal officially, i have a couple of questions:

1. any MAJOR flaws?
2. how will i keep clones alive during the winter?

LETS GO!

DAY 1:
got the seeds in the morning from my grandma who picked them from the mail.
at night i got a paper towel and wet it properly and then wraped the seeds and put them in a jar.

DAY 2:
woke up and looked at the jar, something wasnt feeling right, it was a bit cold and i knew they needed warmth, and also i guessed introducing my first tweak.
i took the paper towel out and opened it, the seeds were still as they were, i got a peice of cottona nd wet it, and put it on the seeds, wrapped them up again and into the jar, and i then wraped the jar with one of my shirts.

DAY 3:
before going to bed i checked on my babies, GERMINATION HURRA... roots, i celebrated with a nice slim joint! went to bed dreamy!

DAY 4:
writing this journal. havnt checked on my babys, but today i will go get some soil and maybe some nuts and hormons. transfer them to cups, or some rockwool if i can find it.

SO any suggestion on getting good healthy plants.

its DAY 7, and here is an update!

DAY 5:
got up early all worried that they may have over germinated. so i put some potting soil in cups and put the seed 1/4 in' deep, i was so worried, it started getting cold and i wasnt sure how much to water, all in all, a big uncertainty.

DAY 6:
it was looking gloomy, NO HOPE!
but when i came back at night, WHOA 3 sprouted and are starting to reach up high! YAY

DAY 7:
wow i had a dream last night that they grew to a HUGE size, was a good dream! so when i worke up i was VERY please to see them in good shape, i went to university and left the lights on in the room. i will get 2 CFL today.

PEOPLE i need feedback, i will post ALL the pictures when i get the camera from my sis today!

i need some help on making these tender girls grow strong and snappy!!!

OK everybody, here is the deal

I am waking up every morning at 6:30 and turn a cfl 32 watt on till 8:00 then i take them out to the sun, they are only 4 now since one of them, the one that over germinated, did not make it.

so they stay out in the sun till it sets down and back to the light.
that till i got to bed at like 1:00 at night.

i got some nutes today, an all organic thing, got 2 - 1 - 2 n p k values but lots of other stuff, algie and stuff, looks nice. i did it 1/3 the strength.

3 of them look VERY nice, one is a late bloomer it seems.

DAY 9:
looking good, soil is kept wet and light is on as much as possible.

not much more to tell, and i know that a picture less journal is a suckt y thing, but will manage.

i need some input people. PLEASE. if not about the plants then about the technique.

everything sounds good man, only thing i would do is get a timer so i dont gotta get up so early.

the nute problem, well you are right, its too early. BUT this soil was used before, so its poor on nutes, i guessed such a downmixed solution wouldnt do bad, and they are man. its a 2-1-2 nute anyway not too strong, but for the future i will be 10 times more careful i promise you.

about the timer, YES its a good idea.

dont worry to hard bout the nutes, this time around i gave my girls nutes at 2 weeks after sprout! they loved it, and only half strength! but all nutes n plants r different so just be careful

I woke up today to some SHITTY news, some debt i had to pay or some shit, so i went and got that sorted out, and to add to that, it aint sunny here today, so all light today, sucks, i can see how my plants just love the sun hehe.

something happened. as i was arranging the plants to get some more light, that late bloomer, it kinda came out of the soil, i dont know if its a normal thing or not, but it had just one root, one thick white root and not a root system kinda thing, i dunno about the others, though i guess they are healthy, they are 2 inches tall by now and look cute.

I asked my sis to bring the camera to me today, so yay the journal will start officially!

here are all the pictures i have, the enveloupe of the seeds came in with, my new pipes, and the setting.

the last pictures are of the late bloomer, can i save it? or is it lost? or is it ok?
there is the slightest hint of a yellow tip here and there, any ideas?

looks like you need to let your soil dry out a little more, how often you watering?

i am watering around a spoonful dayly

is that too much or wrong, i read that its best to dry the soil and then water it when its dry, i dunno, i am worried so i water.

and bear in mind that the water gliters in the flash. but still i want your input

wasent basing my opinion on the color of the dirt....but you said "soil is kept wet" and then the yellow tips...but yea, let it dry...soak thougherly, let it dry, soak, ect.

i was looking for a thread on how the plant look and what is most likely the problem...
