my first grow journal...CHECK THIS OUT!!!

ok now first things first. my name is Joe and im in love with MaryJane hah ok anyway so in recent years ive grown a few plants mainly outdoors just to get a little bit of experience under my belt. this year i decided to grow indoors. so i took some bagseeds and put them in a 5gallon pot while all my supplies that i ordered off the internet arrive. i started the bagseeds with 4 23W 6500k CFL bulbs. [3 days germinating] i got quite a few differnt kinds of nutes and soil. i got 2 trainwreck seeds that my boy gave me. i germinated them for 3days and just planted them last night. [updates on the trainwreck later today] i have 1 23W 6500k CFL bulb above each and 600watt MH light about 24" above. the reason i have those 2 small CFL bulbs on them as well because i have noticed with little experiments in the past that CFL bulbs are great for lil sprouts and into veggin as long as it is between 5000-6500k. now here is a list of all the toys i had ordered and recently purchased and i am using for my first real recorded grow:
- 1 600watt HPS and MH bulbs w/ ballast
- moisture, light and soil PH meter
- H2O PH tester
- 5 12" growing pots
- 2 LCD digital indoor thermometer w/ hygrometer [1 for in my grow room / 1 for outside grow room]
- 1 12" fan for ventilation
- 1 6" rotating fan for circulation
- regular potting soil - 21-10-10
- 8oz of miracle grow [orchid food] - 30-10-10
- slow release plant food 12-3-13
- 4 23watt 6500k CFLs
- 1 65watt 2700k CFL
- 2 tranwreck seeds [not sexed, got off my buddy]
- 4 female ICE seeds
- 1 big buddha CHIESEL
- i have 4 more strains but im not growin them this time around

- im going to post my pics of my grow room and what i have started but thats it so far. check out the pics and let me know what you think. please dont hold anything back. i got a decent setup and quite a few of nice seeds so hopefully i got a couple people interested. again any advice is much appreciated!!!

Looking nice bro, good set up. just a little tip mate i wouldnt dish out on all expensive equip i would master the technique first and then when you know what your gonna be doing select the equip that best suits you. But hey if you can why not lol. Keep us updated Chiesel is sweet weed

yeah man i do hear ya...honestly tho ive spent 6-8hrs a day researchin and watchin tutorials and informative videos and reading and reading and reading a lil bit more lol. ive practically put myself through weed college lol. but yeah i hear ya thnx for that ill just make sure to keep reading. i have a couple pics but i gotta wait till my girl gets home wit our digital so in 30min ill have a bunch of pics so you can see exactly what i got goin on...happy smokin

yeah get som epics up and running bro. Yeah thats the right thing to do read read and read, put up a few posts and read some more. Most of the stuff will benifit you and most wont even work for you but thats the best part just use what you need and do what suits you.

I tend to agree get started first, What i first brought and wht I use now are completely different. I veg with CFL to18 inches and move to HPS lits to flower. I completely skip the MH veging. Good luck
