Hello everyone

I'm doing my first grow with 1 plant (and another plant is coming next week)

My setup:

Corner of a Room:
1x 125 W Lamp with 7500 Lumen (adding another next week)
Ventilation
10L pot
Vertilizers

My friend put stones in it says it makes the plant feel homelike LOL he's crazy is it a good idea?
I didn't finish with the aluminum yet will buy more tomorrow because i rank out.
Getting a reflect foil tomorrow to close the front as well.

My friend helped me set it up its not completed yet please let me know if there is anything to improve:

ohh ya can you guys look at the leaves the smaller ones are dark green im a little concerned about that.

Looks fine to me as a new born, baby, as said, lower that light to avoid stretch, don't overfeed it.

I'm buying a reflector tomorrow, but i want to know what bad about stretch? isnt it good so the plant grows and seeks the light?
Whats the disadantage if it streches?

My friend is a little insane he said adding stones is also good for the plant do you guys agree with this? Now since i heard that the lamp is too high, i'm a little sceptical about him.

A better question is what advantage it gives.

The disadvantage is it falls over after making a crappy structure just to get light. You wanna provide the best conditions not apply some natural selection. Don't listen to your friend

ok i will lower the lamp and post another picture and upload it very soon. Please let me know if it is too close so my plant won't burn over night....
Should I start feeding her fertilizers yet?
Should i take out the stones he placed?

Sorry for all those questions i'm acting like a mother and her first child :D

Stretch = wasted space on the branch. Remember it will double its size in flower and most people don't have that kind of ceiling height. The further away from the light the less energy it will receive. That plant should almost be touching the light.

CFLs don't really burn, you can touch them when they're on. I'd keep it around 2 inches away from the plant though.

And no ferts for seedlings. No ferts for a while if you use miracle grow.

Also i forgot to mention i have feminized northern lights Auto. Does that mean i can leave the lights on for 24 hours or should i do 18 hours and let the plant rest?

Its 6.5 inches away from the plan i measured it, so i should go even lower your saying?

Move your bulb closer and turn the bulb sideways, thats where most of the light from cfls comes from

You need more light and your friend must have rocks in his head. I wouldn't listen to him. With respect to nutes don't feed until 3 weeks old then start out 1/4 strength.

So i should leave it for 24/7 even in veg. mode?
I'm getting another 125W lamp with 7500 Lumen next week will 250 W and 15.000 Lumen be enough for 2 northern lights auto mode plants?
Also Bullwinkle should i put the lamps sideways as suggested.
