My First Grow - Snowryder Short Stuff

So I already have a few threads started and making a few journal entries on my profile but I thought I'd give this forum journal a shot get spme extra help.

So I'm growing 1 snoryder plant in my closet, first time growing. As far as lighting: I have 3 lights, 2 23w [100w eq] 6500k Daylight bulbs and a 13w 6500k CFL's. As far as everything else go check out my profile I have it all documented with pics.

So today marks end of day 4, looking good I think. The second set of nodes is fully grown (I believe) just waiting for them to get bigger now! Plant is about 3cm tall, was wondering if maybe it's stretching a bit? Asked on the forum earlier but didn't get a forsure answer just a bunch of guesses.

My soil seems to be dry a lot, possibly because of the fan running?

Any tips on nutes would be great too, I know I don't need them for a week or two but any advice on how to tell when would be great.

I think I was wrong about the leaves, the circular ones still attached to the seedling case are the nodes that fall off correct? the other set of nodes is the first set....someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

you are correct! count nodes after that

Decided it would be easier to do a little vlog almost. May be seeing more of these than posts with pics. We'll see what happens!

i love the vid, i took a cpl vids of my girls last year, but couldnt figure out how to get the vids up here. as for transplanting, im sure as hell no expert but when i transfer my babies from inside to outside i use superthrive, it works awesome if you dont use to much of it, and a bottle will last you forever

Be careful of streching, I keep replanting mine.

I was slightly concerned about stretching [see other thread] but I think it's just the nerves taking over

Day 7! Well Day 7 since I planted the little seed. Not looking to bad. Had to go home for the weekend, left the light on, came back and she got bigger

Attached some pics, front,side,and top view. I just watered not to long ago so there's some water beeds on the leaf there.



I also got bored this weekend, found this old cabinet I made. Threw it together, lined the inside with some tin foil (I know its not good Mylar is better) but maybe use this as a veg chamber? Gotta install 2 fans still but its coming along I think. Whatchya'll think?

Building grow boxes are always fun to build. Waiting for my cab to get here

Had a terrible scare today...was taking a measurement for height, and the tape measure slipped outta my hand? how the fuck does that even happen. Fell right on the little guy. Thank god the stem grew and an angle and that angle was facing the way it fell on it. Bent him right over. Stood em back up, fluffed up the dirt. Hopefully only a minor setback if any.

Got my nutes and soil too. Original Blend Sea Soil (http://www.seasoil.com/original-sea-soil.html) and some Botanicare Pure Blend Pro Grow Veg (3-2-4) Wont start using it yet but I also wanna do a transfer to the new soil. Any opinions? Then after the transplant probably wont use it for 2-3 weeks....(might be in flowering fuck)

I would make sure the water does not stay on the leafs it will act as a magnifying glass and burn your plant.

Damn! They are really moving quick, just a 3 day difference for you is crazy. However mine are simply not going...at all. Check my thread.

Week and a half old, yesssiir.
Decided that maybe its time to get a brighter light job goin, so decided to move into my box. Got a fan isntalled, drilled some breather holes on the top and side. White bristol board on the inside, massive clear packing tape down.

and the plant doesnt look to bad either

Absolutely loving the shortness. Nice lookin stem on er too. Anybody got any opinions on when to transplant? I've been told 6' but seeing how this plant stays shorter, maybe there's a different height/wait time
