My First Grow-Strawberry Cough from Seed

Well, I've finally decided to do it. I ordered my Strawberry Cough seeds from Dutch Passion and have put together a mini flowering room. I'm cutting it kinda close because I haven't even started the flowering room yet. But this is my story in progress of my very first grow.

I had the seeds in a cup of filtered water, covered, in the dark for around three days with no luck; no cracking, no sinking, no nothing. I tried putting them in the rockwool (soaked in a 25% GH brand nute solution. Two days and nothing...

Finally getting tired of it I started thinking like Mother Nature instead of the guy who can't wait to get stoned. Then it hit me.

HEAT!

After Winter's frost leaves and Spring comes, the Sun comes out to warm the ground. The little seedlings are caressed out of their sleep by the warmth of Mother Earth and begn to stretch inside their shell. They stretch and stretch until the softened shell cracks and one leg shoots down and a little arm shoots up.

The minute i put them under lights and the tray on the heating pad, they took over and within one night, I already have little shoots going. I'm a dood but we all have a bit of mothering instinct in us, so I was checking the girls almost hourly and their growth was amazing.

So here's where we are now. I've found that you can read and study all you want (me=6 months learning before attempting) but when the time comes, instinct will take over and lead you the right way. As I've read before, relax and don't overwork it...it's just a weed.

Yeah cannabis seeds (like most seeds) germinate when it's warm because that's an indicator that summer is coming. Your setup is looking good!
