My first grow

So I will be switching to a bigger grow closet that I will be making out of boxes it will prolly be close to 6 foot tall. Right now the seedling is in a tote. I have a 15 watt led light bulb in it. And it is lined in aluminum foil to help get brighter. The box build will be lined in foil as well. The box build will be 2 square foot. How much light do I need for the 2 square foot box grow closet. Will the led I have work. I really wanna stick to leds for the low heat. I need recommendations on good lights to use also please.

I put a pic of how my plants looks today which is day 7.

Lol yeah I got a minute. It's an autoflower plant. Decided to go that route bc it is simpler and I have limited room and they tend to be a bit shorter.
 
  • So I am 11 days into it and would like to know what everyone's thoughts are. Is it doing good. It's starting to smell like cannabis.

Whats stopping you approaching this in a serious manner, tin foil, cardboard box tents, 15watt leds :-(
 
What's stopping me is its my first grow and i wasnt sure how I would do. Plus the limit of funding. I wasnt gonna waste money on tents and lights and then fail. Now that I see I can do good I am gonna invest more. Sheesh why so negative. I bet my cardboard weed tent grows some fire shit. See you in two months Kinggrow
 
Some things to consider. What soil are you using? What nutrients?
Flowering plants smell A Lot, a whole lot. Mine was out of the tent for literally 30 seconds, and the room smelled like skunk for an hour.
Ventilation?
Check my journal. Had a redneck veg cardboard box going for a bit.
300 Watt Mars hydro for $65 on amazon, works great for veg in 2x2, but not sure if strong enough for decent flower.
Take it easy on feeding and water. Most new growers plants are killed from love.

If is only a negative statement if you dont channel my negative energy and upgrade that cardboard fire hazard tent and lights and join the rest of us jedis on the dark side :-)
