So I am attempting my first grow in my closet with my new Sun Hut Silver 2x4, I'm also using a Vortex 8' 600 CFM Exhaust Fan with a 12"x26" carbon filter (I run it at half speed), 6 x 34watt 6500k Florescent 24/0 for vegetative and Hydrofarm Radiant 8 - 600 Watt HPS light fixture (not pictured here yet) with a Lumatek 400/600 HPS/MH ballast for flowering and a small clip on fan.
I'm growing in Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil in 3 gallon pots with Hydroton in the bottom and using Fox Farm's Grow Big for veg and Fox Farm's Tiger Bloom for flower. 2 Teaspoons per gallon of water. I give them 1 cup of water every other day alternating water with fertilizer on the third watering. I keep the temp as close to 76 as possible, but sometimes it goes down to 70 and up to 80.
I'm growing 2 White Widow and 3 AK-47 and 1 Bag Seed Sativa. I took clones at 7 weeks from seed and they have I just transplanted the clones into 4" pots that I will flower to determine sex.
I know they should be bigger, but I had them under no light for the first week, then I put them under a weak as Florescent until one month ago when I got the 6 tube fluorescent. After I put in the bigger light they grew from 5" - 14" in 4 weeks. I'm going to veg for maybe another 3-4 weeks and think of blooming doing a scrog. Now I just got to keep from burning them with fert, drowning them with water, and killing them with heat/cold or fungus/spider mites and I should be ok?
I'll post some new photos before I flower in 3-4 weeks.
