my first plants.

the tall is the first one that i started growing, and has been doing well considering that it was a seed out of a bag and the soil is garden soil, so i put two seeds in this one, i had a couple other containers with seeds in but they didnt do too good, and this one nearly died until a few weeks ago i brought it back, and then all of a sudden a new one sprouted and its nearly the same size as the second biggest one.

i know that i havent done anything right so if anyone could layout a simple checklist for a simple first grow, maybe two or four plants, also where to get good nutrients and lighting, i'm in the uk so any uk brand names would great.

i'm thinking of getting my seeds from pick and mix seeds, and i'm not sure where to get hold of lighting, good nutrients or probably everything else needed.
