My Grow so I can Blow

I have put my seeds in a paper towel that were fairly damp. I had 2 diff seeds so used 2 different paper towels and put the paper towels in bowls and put them ontop of the water heater. I am excitied and I am about to go get my babies their essentials some more cfls and things to have ready. I started with 12 seeds. I hope all goes well. And what i read by Mogie I put my other seeds in some rice and put them in the frezer for the next harvest. Also how big should the pot be for the plants when their ready to repot. I have alot of empty 2 liter bottles could these be used or do they need more room than that. Also thanks potato on my other post for telling me about the ph meter and everything didnt want you to think I didnt see it. Well I have to go do the shopping for them hopefully I they will be ready in a few days.

But any advice or comments are appreciated

OK everyone second day and still no sign of life, I wonder if I drowned them, I hope not. Well yesterday I went shoppiong for them and went to a hydroponics store and next week Im either getting a 400watt hps or a 250 watt mh which one will be better. Plus I got them some general hydroponics floramicro. floragro, and florabloom has anyone used these before. Plus I took back my black gold nad got some fox farm soil. I am going to start germinatino on a few more just incase these dont work.

Whassup everybody and I just wanted to keep everyone updated. Today there was sign of life out of 3 of the seeds, so I planted them and I just got them a ph tester today. I will be checking the soil everyday and trying to keep up with everything. I hope that everything will do ok. Should I start giving them light I left them in a dark room for right now and seeing what is going to happen and in a couple days give them light. 2 of the afghans and 1 chronic plant. Hopefully more will start when I get up tomorrow. Oh yeah I mixed the 3 seeds up when they grow I should be able to tell the difference in which strain is which right.Well all comments and concerns and advice would be appreciated.Thanks Smokes UpSmokenchoke310

Ok man, a few things. Get the 400 hps. It works best. Get a "Super Hps" bulb for it. It is an hps with more blue light for veg. Also you need to get some flors for starting those seeds. God to Home Deopt and get one of the shop lights. Start them under them for 2 weeks and then switch to the hps. Just keep the hps at 2 feet for a while to get them used to the light. Also you need to be reading on this web sight for info.

Thanks for being the first on the new thread Firstimer. I am growing in a room about 4 by 3 so Im just going to ge the 600watt hps plus I am trying to grow about 15 plants. I want all my babies to grow. Where can I get something to lower and raise it though. I have some cfls right now to work on the few that are already growing. I hope my babies grow good. I now have 6 seeds planted and I am excitied to see the results of these. More of them have a small root and waiintg for them to get a bit longer before I push them in the dirt. It looks like about 90% of the 16 seeds I started germinating will be planted. I was wondering should I put some light on the seeds I just put in the dirt or should I wait.

I got 9 seeds planted 6 of them are afgahni those are working great and I have them under about 6 cfls for the time now until I get my hps from htgsupply.com I hope they through and I get my stuff. I really hope the rest of my plants start to germinate and my plants that are planted start to show some sign of life. I hope they have everything they need. I was hoping anyone can tell me how long htgsupply takes to ship to cali. I was just wondering or if anywhere on the WESTCOAST.

Thanks le. It is my baby girls are just all popping up well 3 of them. I am excited and I have a t5 on them right now but when would I want a hps on my plants. Also my babies have got about 2-3inches already and I am so proud of them.

i only see dirt in your picture

I know it was a bad picture with my cell phone. Broke my camera a few months back while trying to catch my niece, slipped right out of my hand. and the screen broke. But the camera still works. My plant has developed four leafs right now and I have them under two cfls and a 2ft 2 tube flour. I ordered a light from htgsupply and got it yesterday and one of the bulbs were broken and its not working properly. UPS destroyed my package but hopefully me and htg can work something out.

Also when do plants begin to form their second set of leaves because its been about a week and I have seen no sign of them forming. Also when should I start to feed my babies nutes, they are in fox farm oceans forest. One of them is about 3 inches tall and grew this in about a week and a half is this normal.

Any help would be appreciated

Well I guess I could give an update. My lil mamas are doing good. The 3 of they have all gotten about 4-5inches tall xcept a few which are bsuhier than the others. They are looking goods some of them were forming yellow spots and I fed them some nutes and watered them good and now they seem to be doing good.

Also Htgsupply is great they let me send my package back and are going to let me get a better light. They are great. If you need a light HTGSupply.com is the place. They have some great customer service though too. Dont email them they dont return just call and they are really helpful.

I am hoping my other lights are good enough until they get my other one here. Also on one of my plants I think the root is grew up out of the soil and is taller than the plant. Is this possible and it looks to be blooming , I dont know what to do any help would be appreciated.

I have a couple problems and need immediate help. First one of my plants has green pebbles forming in the dirt and I was wondering what that was and how do I rid this. Is it mold because thats what I think it is. Another question I have is my bushiest plant is the smallest one. All the others are tall but the one with the most leaves is the shortest is something wrong with her.

Should I kill the plant will green stuff what I think is mold growing in the dirt. I dont want to but if it can spread I will go ahead and do it. I think another one has one small pebble of it but I think I will have to just throw them away.

I'm not an expert, but I would still say to move the plant away from the others just to be safe.
