My house electric box outside is 150A will this be enough to run 4kwatts of hps?

its an old house. I want to make sure I can run 4k of hps lights plus my pumps,fans,air filter. Can someone point me in the right direction? do I just have to replace one of the breakers to 50amps to run the 4k on the heilo?

u can buy heavy duty timer like this one

....TIMER....

and wire this timer on accordingly to it amp breaker , on a 40 amp timer u can run 4 1000w lights and if u grab timer on 220v and ur light ballast u have is with 220 cable that's even better , in that case u would use half of the amperage

Yes, you can run 4k with a 150 amp service. Hell, you could safely run 24,000 watts with 150.

But if your running 4 then it makes sense to go 240v current.
