My Plan For Next Year

Ok so this past season was my first ever season, it it didnt go as well as expected, i spent alot of time researching things and i thought i knew it all, but i didnt xD but i did learn ALOT

but the thing that sucked the most was it was in the woods pretty far, i saw countless snakes and got spooked a couple times by hunters later in the season, and although i love growing marijuana now, next year i want to be as secretive as possible, this time telling no one

so im thinking this, i ran into basicly every problem imagineable this season (bugs, animals fucking with them, 2 weeks of rain = major budrot, trees filling in way more in the summer blocking light, the whole nine yards) but now that that has all happened, im more knowledgeable on on how to prevent these problems next year tho so i know i'll be prepared for anything ahead of time.But like i said i want to be a bit more secretive this year. That being the case im gona plant some next year, but visit them as little as possible and let them do their thing. Of course on these trips i will be bringing all nessesary items, as in applying bug repellent before the bug problem starts not when it starts, having a rain shelter ready for sudden long rain spells, etc.

So what im really asking is can i visit my plants no more than once a month ( with the exception of when the males show up i may be there alot then to check and pull them as soon as they show ) and have healthy plants? The main issue there is water, do they nessesarily need to be constantly watered? the new location i found via google earth is veryyyyy deep in the woods and i spent a day tracking the sun and its basicly full light all day , so is it a bad idea to just let them do their own thing and leave them alone with rare visits? and does the amount of water affect the potency, although the area is next to a swamp so the ground is already very moist

I guess the answer depends on you. Are you unable to go more then once a month or you unwlling to go more then once a month?
My suggestion is not to go less than once every two weeks, this allows you to put down some ferts and make sure everything is ok with your plants. You get out what you put in really. Take the time and effort if you can and your plants will show for it.

Plants CAN and will do ok on their own in the long run it just depends where ya put em. If the soil, water, and light requerments are met naturally then you can do very little and have them turn out well. I remember a spot i did one year that was difficult to get to we never check, returning at the end of the year expecting to find very little in the way of a return, and was shocked to find about 5-6 lbs off 12 plants.

2 weeks may be doable actually

its not that im lazy, its just that growing isnt exactly my priority when im in college and have work, its just not convenient, i really wont have the time but i cant help myself, once you start you can not stop, i just know i had to put ALOT of work into my plants this year because of all the errors i made as a first time grower, so im just hoping that if i do everything that needs to be done every trip before a problem starts i will be okay (plus i guess im a bit of a coward and feel like the more i visit them the higher chance i have of getting caught )
