My plant thats been topped

I have topped this one plant under my 150hps and I think I messed it up. I cut below the 6th node, I just think I cut it in the wrong place. Can somebody tell me if I topped it right and whats going to happen to my plant next?

You can top it anywhere and anytime you want. There is no magical node you need to cut at.

Those two buds at the base of the leaf (axillary buds) are going to turn into your main stems now. All is good.

I would suggest that you top the new shoots and then you will have mad funk shoots growing. Good Luck Dude
