Did it start at the bottom and work up, or did it start at top? Same strain as foreground?

Yea from the bottom up and from branch to branch

That sounds like a lack of nitrogen. Either not fed enough, locked out, or maybe pirated by plant in foreground.

I would try to figure out why it doesn't have enough nitrogen.

Is there a possibility of a sulphur or magnesium def? I can't tell from your pictures but are the tips thinning and turning brown on the yellow leaves? How far into Flowering are they? Because from the Picture i am seeing it doesn't look like it is a lot of leaves.

Its K def and you should have added some potash or flowering nutes by now. Sprinkle some potash around the drip zone and some super phosphate but dont over do it. When flowering starts plants are very hungry for K.
