my plant

i know i shouldn't have, but i've got 2 plants in one large pot.....how do i tell if male or female?

they are growing VERY fast indeed, prob about 6-7 weeks old and about 8-10 inches tall.

started giving them 12 hours of total darness per day about 3 days ago...how do i tell if male or female?

if they are male i take it male plants cant produce flowers so are totally useless??
