My plants are starting to droop.

Hi guys,

This is my first grow, due to my mum finding out about my grow room in my room.

I had to move it to the garage the only thing us had to be away for 2 days.
I finally set my grow tent back up on monday and got my plants back under the lights

During those 2 days they were just kept in my room.

Ive now had them under my 600 watt hps light for 2 days and some of my plants seem to be drooping.

I dont know if this was down to me leaving the plants in my room for 2 days or if my light is too far away.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Water is usually the problem. Give them a drink and see if they don't stand up in a couple of hours

Yeah i read somewhere not to properly water for the first few days so ive just been spraying them once in the morning and once at night.

Yeah ill try and upload some pictures later its just not letting me on my phone.

So you guys recon i should start giving them a little water?

Cheers

if its had no water so far, a little won't hurt. don't drown it day in day out though, that's no good. Give it a little and see what happens. Like haight says, probably see improvement pretty quick.

Yeah just watered them now, it was dry but like 2 cm down it was pretty moist. Hopefully this helps.

Get a few CFL bulbs or tubes and use those for the seedling stage. That'll prevent them to stretch too. Preferably put them in a smaller container first too. The 600w hps is drying out the top layers where currently many of it's roots are, while it's too small to transpire and take up a lot of water further down the soil.

Get rid of the HPS until you are ready to flower in about 4 weeks.

Use Compact Fluorescent Lights for the first 2 weeks at least.

Sativied is telling you true.
