my plants look like grapes! wtf?!

We have four plants that are tall and skinny. They all have these weird pods growing instead of buds. i'm really bummed. my hubby thinks i can still smoke them, but they kinda creep me out. anyone know wtf is going on?

might as well collect some pollen since you are already that far along and no don't smoke that i ean if you really want to im sure it will burn and smoke will come out your mouth but don't know what kind of buzz you could possibly get though in 20 years i have never smoked a male plant so no personal experience here.

male, no thc, production. pointless , but healthy nice yield . you did a good job, besides it being male

Unfortunately you joined this site about a month or so too late. Sorry about your plant(s)...I too experienced the "grape syndrome" just last week.

Well actually there is thc in a male nothing like a female but that doesn't mean people can't make butter or extract from them. Would i personally no but all you would have to do is hit google to watch others doing it,kind where did you get such a sure answer as no no thc wheres this information coming from.
Anyways kj just head over to a breeder forum and get your answers fro people who specifically grow males all the time and thats where your most accurate info should come from as most of us just cut our males out the grow

Just read a nice tutorial about it from a grower well skimmed it but his most important advice was that to maximize your male just let it go to full maturity even stated his grapefruit males were a pretty decent buzz considering

I've smoked some EXCELLENT male plants.. they 'can'' make a fine smoke depending on genetics and much like tobacco, the dry and cure.

Would I smoke it if I had bud laying around? Maybe 'sometimes' but not as a standard. But if it were my only plant and I was dry, i would be fixin her for some ingestion no doubt about it.

Many moons ago I had some bag seed and I got two plants, one turned female and one turned male.. the male was beautiful and stong, but to make room for the female I cut it and stuffed it in a paper sack and never thought about it again.

Then after the female harvest I dried and cured and it was really mediocre smoke.. not bad, but just as commercial as the bag it probably came from at the time.

I run out of smoke one day and remember that male plant.. eww. I'll be damned if it wasn't way better than the female plant in taste and buzz.. I was so pissed for cutting the male instead of the mediocre female.. but of course I would do that.. Heh..

Who sold you the clones? Or were they from seed... If they were clones, that person who sold them to you did you dirty... next year will be better for you.
