my plants started flowering even though...

had clones took them outside where the outdoor time finally matched my indoor time. lone and behold my blue dream and 24k gold have started flowering and arent showing any signs of revegging(24k gold is) is any one have some insight on this i was hoping on growing a pretty decent sized blue dream as of now all i see is clumps of pistils and resin production. and yet theres still 2 months of decent daylight left. ive also heard that once a plant is in flower its finished focusing on expanding its root mass and more focused on producing flower. if my plant were to re veg would it re focus on growing taller and wider as well as expanding its root zone????
ill include a photo of my current length of day in my area. plants been out for at least 2 weeks and showing no signs of re vegg btw

Most importantly what did you decrease it to and what was the actual outdoor light schedule when you put them out.

Yes they will reveg and grow again but its going to cost you time n yield.

I never really try to match hours.
I have never had trouble just going from 18/6 to outdoor.
I have often wondered if decreasing non stop until the schedules match would signal the plant the winter was coming and it should flower.

But People do it so I guess it don't

Still I find it something I don't need to do.

If I switch from 24/0 to 18/6
I just do it

If Im going outside I just do it from 18/6.

I have however put clones out too soon and fucked myself up

John,
That is puzzling. Re-vegging takes some time but will get plant back in vegging with all that means. If you want to do that...better get crackin' Don't want to waste too much daylight.

Here's an out of the box idea. Some strains grown outdoors will continue flowering so you can make multiple bud harvests. I seem to recall DJ Shorts strain Flo would do that.
So if you decide not to revegg...maybe try the prolonged harvest thing.

once it reverts back to veg will the plant go back to spreading root instead of focusing on building buds?

Hi John,
Short answer is yes. But there will be some changes in the plant. Regarding roots...the only plants I've actually done revegging with are adult females at harvest. And to help them...root pruning is needed plus a root stimulant to get roots re-engaged in growing.
