So I've recently found myself in a place in life now where I am able to grow and have plenty space/resources. I've been a member here for quite sometime and have been an active member of our 420 community from glassblowing to horticulture. I am from SoCal in between morrow bay and LA. I am more of a detailed methodical tester and I enjoy all things unique.
I have long seen and heard of purple and I do have to say the intrigue, demand, and controversy of this bud really peaks my interest. We are in a time in our national history where everybody is about to start growing marijuana on an unpresidented level and the identification of good unique buds are going to start becoming less and less to identify. This is a wonderful thing, but standing out in a crowd is necessary to be known. Which is why I have begun conquest to find the most purple buds to create my own f1. I am here to try and fulfill the skepticism of purple not being as good as green. I understand that the purple either comes from deficiencies in temperature/nutrients BUT there are many who claim they are bred into the genetics naturally. I want to partner up with purple underdog and make it shine more than it has ever with flavor and strength of a sour. I will NOT be testing however introducing cold or the removal of certain nutrients to have the color as I feel they are necessary for strength and aromas. I will however be testing;
- indicas and ruderalis for the color intensity of purple present.
-cloning of purple ruderalis
-seeding purple ruderalis with another purple of the same strain to see if the color stays
-seeding purple ruderalis with a stronger non purple to see if color stays.
In which I will have posts on each of these separately.
I really hope to explore something new and have an end result of a very purple and very sour bud. If anyone has any information on obtaining a good purple or any super sour indica or ruderalis seeds to furthermore help my quest I'd love a pm. I would share my final work who those who share with me. I love a good challenge and not keeping the same repetive actions as a constant. I love exploring new variables and showing others what's actually possible by doing the impossible, some might laugh but i live for being part of the true innovators who think outside the common box. To push the possibilities. Peace, love, and greens forever.
