I am currently growing some of his Mental Floss seeds and had just recently chopped the first one down @ 60 days. It could have gone longer but I just want to try this already! Besides, I have 4 more in flowering (Days 45, 25, and two more @ 2 days). I spread these out as to have a somewhat constant harvest. Plus I have a 4+ foot mother in veg and 6 more clones in veg. And another handful of cuttings trying to grow some roots and plans of taking another 10 more in a few days)
The package says 55-65 days. Every report I read said 70-75. All photos I have seen had a purple hue to them. Mine do not but I am wondering if that comes right at the end as they ripen more. I think this one probably should have went another 10 days but I'm not too worried about it -- plenty more on the way! VERY thick stems and nice fat dark leaves - some with up to 11 fingers.
The smell is exactly like the description says, if you have ever read it. Incense-like and fruity. The buds are covered in crystals. I picked off the lower buds a few days ago and broke them up small to "dry" and sample.
The taste is exactly like the smell. Without being properly dried or cured it is still very delightful. I am excited, though, to give this crop a nice dry and cure. I only expect things to get better from here.
