My seedlings are wilting! :(

Halllo everybody. I've started growing for the first time so I have no previous experience and need your help pleasums. The seedlings are about a week old and already over 10cm tall, but their stems are so skinny that they can't support their own weight anymore and so i need to use little sticks to support them. I think it happened through over watering them (i was giving them about a tea spoon or so a day), so I haven't been doing any watering the past few days. I just want to know how to make their stems stronger so they can stand on their own haha! I'm growing them inside at them moment by the window and want to move them outside as soon as possible but I can't because the wind knocks the poor things over. People have said stuff about getting a fan or something but I don't have the money to buy anything like that. THANK YOU have a good day

if you water them every day, they will die.

Thanks for responding. Yep, I'm not doing well. So how should i get them light if they can't go outside??

Look at a cheap CFL in the right spectrum. $6 each or so. OK for sprouts.

Dude have you got any sort of fan blowing on them, if not get an oscalting fan, that will thicken the stem up

Sorry just re-read your post...you will have to get some sort of fan or at least leave the window open that they are beside, you need to get some sort of air blowing on them the strenghten them up..

get ready to replant them to the calyx

lower the light closer to the plant or they will over stretch

i have no fans blowing on my young ones and no probelsm )

Wtf just repot and bury those bitches deeper and get em outside if the climate is right and hey the wind cant knock em over can it lmfao i dont mean to be rude but do u know wtf your doin if you canny get em outside and you cant afford a decent light ditch the lot as your gonna be tryin to fight a losin battle and will get u fuck all imo i mean come on no fan no light jeez u might aswell not have any soil

^^^actually yeh hes bang on,,i forgot i took this advise in my currant grow i ended burying mine about 6 inches and ther loking mint,chek me sig if u dont beliv me lol yeh chedz often the simplest way is the easiest,b
ut after u bury em drop that light

haha ow makea me feel bad. i bought seeds for plants that grow outside so i could do it without buying a light or anything, but yes i slightly flopped. They're outside now though and seem to be doing fine at the moment. Tank choo
