Hello, i am starting a new grow room and just need some advice on what kind of carbon filter i would need for my size grow room. So far i have a Virtual Sun 600 Watt HPS MH Grow Light Hood Reflector Digital Ballast Kit - Dimmable. Virtual Sun Grow Tent - 48'' x 24'' x 60''. what size filter do i need and how many fans do you think i would need to run? Thanks guys

can filter 9000(60$) 4" centrifugal fan 170+ cfm rating (60$) this wil swap all the air in the tent in under a min. good for ventilation.

you will need a another 6" or 4" centrifugal fan for cooling light and an oscillating fan to mix the air inside the tent

so around another 200 bucks for a fully operating flower room? How many plants do you think i can fit in that size tent? thanks man

well thats the same size as my flower room almost so in 1 gal pots(8" dia.) you can fit 21 plants 2-3ft tall. or 8-10 plants in 3 gal pots and 4 plants in 5 gal pots.

you got a veg room setup?

yeah probably about 200$ check CL for the deals tho
and if you set it up this way co2 will be a simple add on (just remove ducting from filter so it scrubs air and add a small duct fan as exhaust)

nope i dont got a veg room:( my friend has a bigger op going he said he can give me clones whenever i need them. but i was thinking of setting up a veg room anyways

Order virtual suns 4" inline fan and filter. Its $130. I use one im my vs 4x4 tent cooling my vs 600w cooltube. Justt buy a few 6 to 4 inch reducers. Put on on the filter one on the intake side of your fan and run 6" ducting. The fans rated at 190cfm. It cools my light well and still gives me neg pressure.

set up the veg room. a 2x2 or 2x4 under some t5s or cfls or even a 400w if you can swing it will be worth it. veg room can be made much simpler..

as far as yeild well, it will take a while to get good at this, but if you where to do 12/12 with clones from the start and filled your space the best you could and maintained the perfect environment you could expect around 1g a watt.

Im on my first grow but ill be harvesting 16 afghan goo out of it in 2 weeks will let u know. There looking really purdy though

haha i am 18 not like 40 or something crazy! Well she sure is about to in the next few months ahaha. damn nice man i didnt think i would fit that many in that size tent.

well just be careful im young too. but im like into 3rd and fourth generations of breeding, big grows small grows done em all. growing can get out of hand. so keep it small till your out of grandmas house and youll be alright.

Let's all calm down a little and get some more info. Maybe he is in a legal state and has a prescription. Maybe Grandma actually lives with him and not the other way around.
