so i transplanted my seedling that was in a cup to a 3 gallon container. it was hard to get out of the cup. some of the bottom soil broke off, put it inside the hole i made in the container. im afraid i shocked it. what could go wrong now?

your fine unless you broke roots off which i doubt you did. i ALWAYS break the root ball up before transplanting. Im not all super rough with it though but i like to get as much of the old dirt off as possible.

If possible give it some superthrive if you think you shocked it. Chances are you're OK though plants can take a bit of roughness

I squeeze the cup a few times, flip it upside down and give it a few taps on the bottom, then while supporting the soil and plant pull it out of the cup and into the new container and backfill with soil. If you have extra of the containers that you are transplanting from what I like to do is place the soil around it then the hole should be the perfect size for your transplant. Make sure you give it a good drink. Good luck!

i did that, it was just stuck in there lol, i made a slit in the cup opened it up that was only way i could have taken it down, i did not know how much water i needed, so i put a lot of it in there

As long as you didn't leave half the root ball in there you should be fine.

When you transplant its best to give your plant a good watering then wait one day tap the pot on the ground or with your hand to loosen the soil before transplanting into a new bigger pot... Make sure your useing the same type of soil... make sure you use a root stimulater like " Super-thrive " is what i use after you transplant your baby into the new pot make sure to mix the superthrive in a gallon of water an water your tranplant victom. Some strains will take right away an some strains will get shocked. DO NOT FREAK OUT ! it will take time to start growing again.
