My vanilla kush and SLH seeds just came in!!! help me lose my black thumb!

alright, as most of you read form my previous thread, i was growing 10-15 plants under 1k HPS and couldnt get MORE THEN AN OUNCE a plant

with this grow, i intend to do it RIGHT and CORRECT.

Lets talk soil, i looked at some soils today and found something called "Hamptons estate soil" and it appears to be pretty good from what i can tell its organic and a good soil to use. i was using REGULAR 1.98$ top soil for my grows with NO nutes/organics in them. another possible reason for my less then an ounce a plant dilema. I figure if i grow the seedlings in .7 liter plants then swap them over to my 5 gallon containers with hamptons estate soil, itd provide them the nutes they need (i also have sensi grow A&B)

Next up is the water. I have decided to get a RO machine to further make sure things are going to be surprise free.

i just installed a homeade hood today that just BEAMS the light on the plants


My bloom boosters are sensi bloom a&b, bud blood, big bud , bud factor x, bud candy and overdrive. Some say i use TOO many bloom boosters and i dont have enough N in my ferts. Is this possible/true? i figured if i got nearly everything, i wouldnt need to worry lol.

Id like to get 3oz a plant with 15 plants, 10 SLH and 5 vanilla kush with a mother for each in a separate room of course.

my room is 6ft long, 4ft wide and about 5.5ft tall.3 i have a BIG fan in the room sucking air in through a 4inch duct, and a 80CFM exhaust fan sucking air out through a 4 inch duct as well. sucks the hot air right off the bulb with its position. room temps are 85Fday 75f night.

Looks like you got it covered for the most part, Go easy on the nutes at frist until you are used to them.

85 is to hot. I personally would never let my room over 77 but my room is a little building with 2 ac units. 85 would be ok if your running co2.

A friend just lost his crop this past summer 85-90 and you could crumble it off the plant and smoke it. There was one plant that fit in a cone and got smoked right off the plant it burnt like a hay fire.

problems with high temps (85+) is it could stunt the growth, you will need to water more heavily and feed more heavily, your plants will need more CO2 and and light, and also more humidity.

If you can't afford AC in the past I had a closet grow with a 400W MH and it was getting in the 90s. I would either raise the humidity up to around 60% or more and that seemed to help a bit. Other things you could do are just add more fans, the more fans you have the cooler it will be. Also if you need to cool it further just fill a broad surface container with ice and have a fan blowing over it, this will not only raise humidity but cool the room better. You might have to replace the ice often which could be problematic. And also there is always dry ice, but that gets very expensive I would say last ditch resort only.

I got a humidifier, keeping the room at.60% will help my heat issue?

Is there any options you can think of to cool it's max temp down even a few? 3 degrees could change your whole world if you could get your max temp to 82 it wouldnt hurt them to bad if it dont happen a lot or all the time

Perhaps another fan?

Also if possible id like to get a qp to a half P Off a plant.in a 12 gallon pot is this possible

silly question but have you tried longer veg times? the more brances and nodes the plant has the more budsites you have and obviously more bud???

If you have to ask, chances are your skills aren't there yet. Stop worrying about weight and worry about getting your grow skill in check. Lay off the boosters and keep it basic. Once you get into the groove and learn how to read your plants better, then experiment with boosters. I don't use ANY boosters of any kind. Flora nova bloom and humic acid. Easy cheesy. I average around 3 oz on an og and 4+ on a more average yielder.

What size containers you use

I'm in 5 gal. dwc buckets. The pic with my hand behind the bud and the one right below that was grown in perlite in a 3 gal. bucket.

I think I'm going.to grow one of mine in a garbage can for the hell of it. Just to get a massive yield

your good, 85 is not an issue...i just went through a major heat wave, temps reaching 95-100 in my tent, and my plants look as healthy as ever.....

What percentage of.my.nutes should bee base nutes and.what.about my.boosters. I water in a 1.5 gallon watering can

Then your friend did something else wrong. I have temps reach 95 on the hottest days in the summer. 85 is NOT too hot. If you knew anything about growing, you would know that what you said is bullshit. Stop giving advice, it just confuses people that don't know any better.
