My very first grow. Auto and photo

OK so this is my first grow and I just kinda want to talk about it and give updates on it and whatnot I'm growing 4 (nirvana freebie seeds) in soil that only consists of MG Organic and plain perlite 75/25 mix (I know MG is not good but at least I tried to get organic I know that don't help too much but resources are slim) I have a swiss cheese autoflower in a 5gal bucket running between 5.5-6.0 pH with two Aquarium air pumps with stones. For nutes I'm using technaflora recipe for success kit + Mammoth P microbes for stem health bud increase and all that good stuff. My tent is a 32" 32" 63" running a 400w HPS light, 1 4" intake fan and a 230cfm carbon filter + blade fans. My plan is to keep my auto and photos on a 18/6 schedule until my auto flowers. While I wait for the auto to finish I'll be playing with the photo periods in the soil and LST them, top them, super crop ect. The very day I harvest my auto I'm going to instantly switch my photos to 12/12 and figure out there sex so I can weed out the males and just go from that point on until they finish.

Hey. I'm 3 weeks into my first grow. 4 autos. I'm a noob but I can tell you what everyone has told me. If you're using a premix soil there are enough nutes in it to last 3 weeks to a month. And then the watering thing. Know what a bone dry pot feels like because that's when you'll water next time. Not before. They don't like it.
I've been told that the first 3 weeks are the worst (with autos anyway and it's true) because it's all going in under the surface. Then at 3 weeks BOOM. It's pretty cool.
And don't fuck around with them too much. Just leave them be and let them do their thing.
Good growing!

Thanks man! I'm actually doing my auto in a DWC setup I know I'm jumping the gun with doing that but I'm pretty damn sure I have what it takes to accept the challenges that will come with DWC but I'm very interested in doing hydro and nothing else once I have a few grows under my belt. Got to learn through trial and error so why not start now? Lol
