my weed smells of old grass

i harvested my plants the strains were blueberry,skunk 1, b52 they look perfect white thc crystals they are sticky but they smell like crap, smell like old grass. through out flowering they never really smell i could stick my head in the tent and barely smell them. is there something wrong i could of done in the growing process maybe 2 much light or too much water???? this was my 1st grow, a bit pissed off no one is gonna want this off me because of the smell

It needs to be properly cured. Put in an air-tight jar and burp it every day or two for a couple of weeks, then once a week. You need to do this for a good 3-4 weeks to get the job done. Smell will improve as it's cured.

It sounds like mildew. Not good. You should dry them for a few days by hanging them in the dark until they appear mostly dry on the outside. Then begin the curing process as explained above.

Make sure before you cure them that the weed is fairly dry or else you'll end up with problems.
What cr8z13 is saying is buy glass canning jars with the METAL lids (do not get plastic.) and put your buds in there. pretty tight, but not too much. Put them in a dark dry place. But everyday go into your storage and open the jar up for a second and let fresh air in or else you'll get moldy weed. do this for 3-4 weeks and you'll be set.

I use my kitchen cupboards to store my Curing Jars. You can buy a set of like 10 jars for super cheap at the grocery store.
