my wife has discovered that the grow room is the shit! and now she wants me to start some flowers for her. if i keep everything clean and sterile. will this pose any problems? please give me a excuse to tell her no.(shes been great bout keepin quiet bout the whole thing. so i feel bad)

Make your wife happy and grow her a few flowers if you have the space. It will not adversely affect your grow at all. Same thing goes for chili peppers, greenfirekilla420.
If you select a really smelly flower like marigolds, it might mitigate the weed smell somewhat.

I've grown 2 types of peppers(chili hybrid, scotch bonnet) with my pot for 6 years... Actually I'd say that some plants stop some bugs from coming around........

I would go by the same light schedule you do for Marijuana plants.

Ya...just stick by the same light schedule. 12/12 will kick them in to gear for producing whatever veggies you want. Actually, some of the peppers will give off a fragrance also. Not a bad idea. I am actually growing some onions and they have a 'lovely' aroma.

First we don't grow dope!! We grow ganja, pit, medicine, what ever you want to call it.
Secondly, growing veggies indoors has the same advantages as growing pot indoors. You can grow better tasting, higher yeilding, and faster. It also allows you to grow veggies year round not just one or two crops in the better months of the year!
