air pump (dual out put)

2 air stones with air tubing

Nice setup. But, from the photo it looks like alot of light is hitting those roots? Probably wrong lol.

what are you using for lighting? i like it.
1 23w cfl 5000k, the light is 2ft above the clones with a 10" shop reflector

the clones are on my veg light cycle 18/6 under veg table

with the lid closed there is no light on roots

no dome for humidity just mist a few times a day (5-10 days roots)

and change water once a week........:joint: :peace:

i basically have the same system but with 2 clones and 2 duel bubblers and 4 bubble stones, the netting takes up most of the space, should i get rid of the netting, or atleast get smaller ones to fit more clones, and yea it works good, the roots are growing fast, i used to use the drip system and it did not work that good, always clogs haha

thanks for stopping by ihatelbpd

i will take these clones and carefully transplant to soil

this is for starting the clones only, i have let these clones go for 2 weeks just to see the growth.....wow, time to transplant

How do you get the clones out without damaging the clones or the system
i was waiting for this one......lol

this time i wanted to see how far i could go......(to far but o.k.)

the roots come out believe it or not

next time i will cut the tubbing length wise and remove around the stem

ok bik mike,

you use that system for cloning and it gets you pretty good results right? i use the same system to grow exept for some other details, i use netted pots with hydrocorns 1 inch before i put the medium in, then i put the hydrocorns a 1/2 inch under water, and i have to duel pumps and for bubble rocks underneath 2 clones....i have been getting good results so far what do you think....haha sounds good?

I'm taking some clones the old fashioned way today, using rockwool and clonex. I'll put how I do it up on my bb cheese journal

i have no luck with cloning in rockwool. my clones get roots but die from heat or something else. so im gonna do aero and i suspect great results

i know it seems basic, but here are a few steps to build this...

the container is clear, paint black to keep light from roots (outside)

you can use from 1/2 to 1" tubing to support the cuttings.

drill holes to size and place the tubing in holes 1" long.

drill 2 more holes for the air tubing above water level.

fill with room temp water (80f) 1/2" below cuttings.

plug in air pump and check that all your cuttings are wet from the air bubbles bursting above the water line (i found it is o.k. to start with the cuttings touching the water also), to lazy to make all the cuts the same size.

the water will evaporate very slowly so i just change once a week to keep fresh from algae. also i add a very little bloom nute (P) to help with rooting.

very simple just misting twice a day for the first 3 days.........GOOD LUCK !! :joint::peace:
