Mylar Blankets?

So I noticed that mylar rolls range about $20+ but you can get 84"x52" mylar blanket 4 packs for $6. Is there any reason I shouldn't just use the blankets if it covers my grow room?

the blankets are pretty thin...in fact I can see through mine a little(but no real light gets out)...thats about the biggest issue with it i guess...panda film would be better

they are nearly impossible to clean without ripping. it can be hard to get it completely flat because of all the crinkles and that. honestly i think the best way to go is to get a gallon of dull flat white paint myself.

ah yeah...didn't think about the ripping part...i had to put ducttape over the blanket where i stapled...then restaple it to keep it up...it ripped pretty easily
