Mysterious Yellowing

Hey everyone, here's the vital stats:

Growing indoors with FoxFarm OceanForest organic soil, currently 6 27-watt cfls, with another 12 on deck to go online when necessary. Water every 2-3 days, when soil is nearly completely dry. Approx one month old. Lighting schedule on 18-6. Humidifer and fan maintain constant temp range of 76-81. Enclosed growing area is opened up for air circulation numerous times a day. Transplanted into current large pots 2-3 days prior to these pictures, but problems existed before that.

A week or two ago, was having problems with leaf tips turning yellow and brown and burning because of what I think was simply over-heating and too-close proximity to the light, so that's when I added the fan and humidifer, which basically solved that problem.

However, now the bottom sets of leaves on both plants are yellowing almost completely, have brown dead tips and are looking real sad. Upper leaves still looking ok thus far, but still worries me as some upper tips are minisculely yellow and I'm not sure if this is heat stress or the same problem with the bottom leaves.

Any help anyone can provide would be awesome - I've looked around a lot and unfortunately I can't differentiate enough between the various deficiences/problems that have very similar symptoms to this.

nutes?
Ph?

It looks like it needs nitrogen. If you have not started veg nutes you should start nutes

It was most likely caused by having the lights to close, I burnt a seedling b4 and it looked a little bit like that!!!

Its deficient in nitrogen. Not bad. That's why I asked about the ph. It could be off. And if the op is not feeding nutes he needs to start. Get some veg nutes heavy in N and the issue should clear up. That is if the op is also phing properly.

I thought it was possible that they were nitrogen deficient, but I wanted some corroboration in case that wasn't the situation and the nutes would do more harm than good.

Ph hasn't been checked but a meter and Ph up/down solutions will be acquired today.

Nute-wise, they haven't been fed at all thus far, but those are also incoming in the next day or so.

Thanks a lot everyone! I'll be sure to update once they have been ph analyzed and fed.

There ya go. Start feeding them some nutes. make sure yous tart slow. Like 1/4th strength and do not feed to much to fast. Ph after you add the nute to you water and the issue should disappear. And wait till you see what a dose of some veg nute swill do. They will shoot up with lush growth.

Good Luck

Add nutes..... start at 1/4... strength... As for the yellow.. all through the grow bottom leaves will yellow and die. as long as it doesn't move up the plant don't worry...
Whats your water.. some say the tips yellow/brown from chlorine(tap water)..I'm not sure.. I use tap water that sits for 24 hrs. to evaporate chlorine.. and still get some... I've checked PH once in 6 years..
Don't get too freaked about def. at that size and age thats not a huge worry...
Luck.

Plus rep for the best move you could make, imo. I'm still a newb, but I read a LOT and pH seems to be the source of almost all non-light-related issues.

Speaking of which, those will need more light soon. :D

is it good to have my ph at around 6.8?
From what I understand, that's actually the optimal pH for nutrient uptake in soil. So, yes.

And that is a wacky setup you've got going on... what do all the tubes do? Autowater and nutes? Is that some in hydro and some soil?

But its not a soil its a hydroponic medium for seedlings!
