N E 1 tell me how long a plant needs to get light during dark to herm???

I need to water in the morning before I leave for two days. And it will be during dark. I have a green light i will have turned on outside the tent. I think it would be fine right?

yes, as long as the plant is not exposed to any light other than the green bulbs light during while doing so.
Right but if regular light were to hit them. Say the lights were on for like 5 - 10 min (girl doin laundry) and light seeps in through a zipper for that time or something. Would that herm them or would it take longer?

I have everything covered im just wondering...

perform your watering under a black light, I know that is a unusable spectrum for plants, and I think would be less likely to cause anything, But I am thinking a brisk walk in to water them with no DIRECT light but maybe just an ambient back lighting, would have no effect. Also when I go out of town I shut down by 600 watters and throw a few CFL's in, for small trips like your, 3 or 4 days max. The cfls are big thou, and a few provide enough light for them to still grow. Better then a fire on a unattended home.

light leaks can cause hermies but are you sure your zipper is letting in light?
I had two turn male but they were from seed so i dont know if they hermed or were just males. They were supposed to be fem seeds. They turned one one day and the other the next and they were right in front where the zipper was. I was paranoid and hung a sheet over where that is now :)

You could be right about the zipper, it sounds like it could of caused them to hermie. Its also very possible they were genetic hermies. the sheet hanging just in case idea is a good one, better safe than sorry.
