N.L X Big Bud , World of Seeds. My potential new strain?

As some of you know I am growing Barneys Critical Kush. They are great and have given me no issues, except for the smell, which whilst I appreciate, I'm unsure if the neighbours do. 34 days into flower and I'm sure the smell is somehow bypassing the carbon filter. Or escaping when I do my checks and just lingering. So I've chosen World Of Seeds Northern Light x Big Bud. Does anyone know how smelly this gets or if it is a good choice? It's just that I'd like to have a plant outside during summer. Thanks

Minimal smell if I remember correctly, can get very lanky if untrained...just something to consider if growing outside. I mean TALL! Good all around smoke though, nothing to write home about but still very good. I remember my finished product being a BRIGHT green but its been almost ten years....

That strain when I grew it was not to bad as far as the smell was concerned.
Grew that strain last year, it was not a bad strain.
Took a bit of time for it to really start producing resin if I remember correctly.
In the end I liked the pant and the high, but I was turned off to the strain for one reason.
It was just to damn leafy, so it didn't make the cut in my search for keeper strains.
Still a very nice plant just not what I am looking for.

If you are looking for low odor strains? Take a look at dinafem.
Most of there strains are pretty low odor, grew white Siberian and moby dick last year into this year.
Nether was very stinky I liked the high of the white Siberian but the yield of the moby dick was huge in comparison.
Both were very nice plants and easy to grow but they didn't make the cut ether.

I've got a NL x BB growing out as a mother right now- but it's only 2 small branches with 5 leaf sets big so far so i'm ages away from seeing how it goes.

I'm growing it hoping to find a good yield-er. I know that's not the topic of this thread, but does anyone want to comment on the yield?

Well the pheno I had took a little longer the average to reach the height I flower at, I would say 2wks longer then normal.
And the plant didn't stretch much at all in flower maybe 2x stretch.
But the yield was very respectable 4' plant yielded 9oz with minimal training.
I think I trained to for 6 tops if my memory serves me right.
Like I said its not a bad strain at all good high, good yield, just a bit too leafy for me.

ok guys, cheers. well I've been on the net all day sort of chopping and changing, and I think I'm leaning towards multi-cup winning Serious Seeds Chronic. Apparently great yield, low smell, but doesn't like topping. All at the bargain price of $95.15 (plus postage) for 6 fem seeds.

thanks I'm going to check out Moby Dick now before I make any concrete decisions !

My advice don't buy a strain just because it is a cup winner!
Lots of cup winning strains when you buy the seeds they turn out to be a huge disappointment.
I have grown 6 cup winning strains and NONE were keepers.
The cup is a joke IMHO.

If you are looking for a heavy yielding strong strain,
My I suggest my new favorite strain.
TGA'S TimeWreck
They only come in non fem tho.

If you are looking for fem seeds I can highly recomend DNA genetics or Reserva Privada.

These 3 breeders have some of the best genetics out there IMO.

la chocolat dna genetics looks yummy. $95 for 6 fem seeds.View attachment 2683991 Chocolope x LA Confidential.
I dont think your looking at anywhere near the yield of NLxBB or even the chronic for that matter. That being said DNA will give you FAR superior quality! If I were you I might look into THC BOMB, Ill be adding it to my rotation... I have no idea what the smell tendencies are since I have yet to run it personally but worth asking around...
