Natural pgr

Is it safe to use eco-seaweed that has high amounts of natural pgr in it?

And is it safer then synthetic pgrs?

Heard that synthetic pgrs ruin potency and flavour of the crop is this the same for organic pgrs?

Thanks for any input

pgrs are plant growth regulators. if you use them properly, they don't effect taste.
there are a load of pgrs that all do different things,
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/20355716
the amount of gibb is too small to matter, kinetins are the thing in seaweed that really effect weed, and what they do is make for short bushy plants with a lot of bud sites. auxins are what make a plant grow tall.
the only problem with kinetins are if you over do them, even a little, you get midget bushes with leaves stacked right on top of each other. i doubt your seaweed will have enough of anything to make that happen, though. before you start using something like pgrs, you really ought to do some reading, they can have profound, and unwanted effects, if not used properly.
that being said, i use synthetic pgrs, ( triacontanol, brassinolide, IBA, 6BAP) and theres no taste to any of them that i've ever detected, but i did bother to do some research and learn what to use before i started

You could look into a product called seacrop-16. (I think there is another company/product called seacrop however but it isnt a pgr)

"SeaCrop16 Liquid Plant Growth Regulator is a concentrated extract made from the seaplant Ascophyllum nodosom, which is harvested from coastal Maine waters. Agricultural crops around the world have benefited from using kelp extracts for decades. Extensive research with these extracts has determined that the growth hormone, cytokinin, coupled with the seaweed's diverse micronutrients, enhance crop growth, development, and yield. SeaCrop16 is formulated for commercial agriculture to provide the highest concentration (400 ppm) of natural cytokinin found on the market today."

The shit is pricey but not as high as I thought....also comes in 2.5 and 5 gallons. I thought it was only 55gal. maybe the changed that recently.

check out a product called hard n' quick by vegamatrix, pretty much the same stuff, cost 60 bucks a quart, but you don't use much of it.
kinetin is cytokinin, same thing, pretty much any seaweed product has cytokin or kinetin in it. cytokinin promotes cellular division, making plants bushier by forcing them to grow more branches. Auxins are the family of pgrs that promote vertical growth. if you have a leggy plant, kinetins help, if you have a shrubby plant, auxins will help, and a judicious use of both will help any plant.

It's when you give plants both at a certain ratio and don't isolate is when the most growth occurs from my understanding.

Agent orange was a synthetic auxin and used as a defoliant during Vietnam.
