i am wondering we do everything to control our plants from light to nutes and back again. and at the end of our flwering we harvest according to the microscope we use to see our trics. i am wondering when a plant is left to grow naturally throughout a season what happens to it? just say we flower untilll all the leaves fall off our plant. has anyone ever taken their plant this far?

If I am not mistaken the plants will really just continue to live/grow until something or someone physically stops it. Obviously the flowers will over-ripen; cannabinoids will simply degrade and possibly the plants will develop seeds. Eventually they would succumb to the elements of the outside world and the plant would deteriorate; be it from a frost, a drought, animals, general lack of nutrition, etc.

I would love to hear if anyone could provide a definitive answer.
