If my res tank is 16 in x 30 in x 12 in
the max psi when filled with water of the tank
I'm getting about .43 PSI
does this sound right?
Thanks and sorry about the units.

We would need to know the atmospheric pressure at the surface of the water as well as the water temperature for an accurate calculation. We'd also need to know which dimension is the height.

Tank floor area: 480 sq in
Total water: 3.333333 cubic feet
Total water weight: 207.783333 pounds
207.783333 pounds per 480 square inches is 0.43288194444444444444444444444438 or 0.433 psi

So yep, you got it right.

thanks you spikey nut =)
I"ll make the adjustment to the calculation as needed based on my location. =) It just seemed something was off as I thought it would be quite higher.
