Hi guys. I am hoping to get some advice. I have been growing for a few years now and I really want to get my operation working to the best of its ability. I'll start by describing my setup. I have two gorilla tents, one for starting seeds/cuttings and one for flowering. the seedling one is 2'x2' and the flowering one is 2'x4'. I have an exhaust fan sucking from the top of the tent pulling roughly 600 CFM I think. The room I grow in is air conditioned. I have a Sunblaze T5 fixture for the seedling tent and I use a 900W LED panel (Viparspectra) for the larger tent. I grow with bubble Hydroponics in a large cooler with two grow sites. I have the Bluelabs Guardian monitor to keep all my numbers in check. I am using GH FloraNova Grow and Bloom nutrients and for the first time this grow I tried KoolBloom.
I have grown a few different strains with OK success just simply growing two separate plants pretty naturally without much pruning and also trying the lollipop methods. My current grow I decided to try the SCROG method and it started out very well! I filled the screen nicely with both plant taking up all the openings. and flipped to flower and ended up with a relatively even canopy about 8" above the screen. So far so good. The buds started very well with nice tight spacing between buds. Everything went well until about 2-3 weeks into flowering. The buds developed to a certain size and stalled. They look great otherwise, with very resinous and lots of crystals. The fan leaves look great with the exception of minor tip burn which I think is under control now. I am at about 6 weeks in and I think they are just done growing
. Keep in mind that I have never been able to get the monster dense buds that I see in pictures with my current setup, but I think this might be the smallest ones yet. I plan to just finish up this grow and harvest what I can, but I would like to try to fix it for the next grow. I believe my reservoir is working great! I have awesome temps and LOTS of bubbles and the roots look VERY happy. So, as far as I can tell, my issue must be the lighting? I am thinking maybe I should try moving to a regular HID setup. Maybe that would get me the buds I am hoping for. I know I am going to have some struggles with heat in this small of a tent, but I feel that with my AC and my exhaust fan running, I may be able to keep it under control. I am leaning toward this setup:

I know this is 1000w and way overkill, but I am planning to run it in 600w or even 400w mode if I have to. I have always had an issue with filling to 2x4 footprint properly, and I feel like this hood with the DE style bulb would fill to the edges of the tent better.
Anyway, I am hoping for suggestions. Not just on the new light, but my setup in general. I am sure I probably forgot some info, so let me know if you need more. Thanks!
