need advice, 100% newb

ok i am about to go to home depot. i have read this site for a month or so. can anybody put a cheap,easy and only 1 plant setup for a closet? my closet it like 4x4, but need to hide from my dad. (graduated and still hideing shit haha). so if nebody knows ne materials i can buy plz plz tell me. i'm guesing Cfl lights r the cheapest? thanks for nebody who rights down what soil, lights etc. :joint:

ok well im newb to but i am useing 27w clfs, and a lil fan blowing on it lightly and thats it lol so you might be able to just get it done like that. but if you wont more help ask some one who knows alot

I've got a very simple setup I just did in my closet, only trying to grow a plant or two

Check out my grow in my signature

I used simple electrical pieces for the lighting, pieced them onto a piece of OSB I got for like $7 at HD (They'll cut it for your too, get your dimensions)

I would recommend getting your lights at Walmart they're half the price as Home Depot

I'm using 4 CFLS right now, 6500k, 1600 lumes (I think)
Soil is a Scotts potting soil for seeds, I'll upgrade to something organic when I upgrade pots

try seemorebuds book Buds for less.Its shows you how to build a small indoor setup for under a bill and def fits in small areas.27 watt cfls is kinda low from what i have learned you should jump up to at least 4o watts and prob a few of them.The way that book mentions you get 2600 lumens from a 42 watt and he shows 3 per plants.great book easy setup.check it out.

def germ a few ya have to figure some may not even sprout and then each one that does you have a 50/50 chance of females.when i planned my lil setup out i germinated 8 and that left me with 6 that germinated.(seeds from bagweed i had left over).so hopefully ill end up with at least 3 females hopefully more.

Be careful about growing in someone else's house... Like DO NOT DO IT... !! Especially if they are unaware of it nad if you are still considered UNDER THEIR CARE... As in you are not over 21 in most states...

You can get them in serious trouble including but not limited to them loosing the house you all live in and jail fore them...

Advise: Do not grow unless you pay the bills and everyone in your house is aware of what is going on and agrees to it... Im pretty sure even if you just had roommates that they could get in trouble even if they were unaware of what was going on...

An informed mind is a prepared mind... Take care... =]
