Does anyone have any suggestions on how to control plant height during flowering. Plants are going into 3rd week of 12/12s. They are growing like crazy. Starting to hit lights and burn. Can i just trim? Should I try pulling them over (LST) at this point in flowering or is it too late?

i just had this problem and unfortunately for me i had to cut off my top main cola of my best plant, yes i gave it a proper burial and said a prayer for wasting such a beautiful gift from god... sorry kick myself for that everytime i think of it... the best thing you can really do is if you absolutely have to, cut what you need to and do it early as possible so you stress as little as possible. and use some string and gently tie the branches out of the way if that's possible, but there's not a whole lot you can do besides move them out of the way, or pull the light up, which for me was impossible. i will say that even with 2 tops getting burnt, cuttting the main top and having a couple still growing into the light reflector as we speak, the plant is THRIVING, it doesn't give a damn how close the light is, so goodluck with that man and do like me, i marked the "point of no return" in my grow room so i know when i HAVE to start them flowering, haha!

there is a product from Humboldt County's Own called BushMaster. u giv it to your plant the first three days in flower and it stops verticle growth (stretching). check it out

Sorry you had the same issue. I'd hate to kill one the best colas. I also am nearly out of space to raise the lights. I am going to try to gently pull it to the side. I hope most of mine ignore the lights.

Thanks bro

Might be too late now. However, I will check it out. Could use next go round.

Thanks

there's probably not going to b much you can do this time around except bend or top. if u bend do it VERY GENTLY and tie the plants down. otherwise the bushmaster will work great for future runs :-)

if u decide to bend them do it a little while after you water them bitches.... the stems get a lil 'bendier' then.... good luck!
