need advice on what to buy

hello all, i need to run up to home depot here in a bit and i need some sort of pole thingy ican use to hang my lights on. I have cabinets in either side of the grow room so i was just gonna get a pole of some sort and and put each end in the cabinets. Needs to be a sturdy pole...but im on a tight budget too...needs to be around 7 feet. Any suggestions? thnx

Why use a pole , Why not just use the half ring hooks that can screw into your ceiling and then just use some chain to hang your lights from . If your on that tight of a budget just use wire ,.

Get a shelf hardware kit!! comes with mounts and screws then you just buy the pole and cut to length ( mounted a shelf on top of mine but I have the pole could have done that too. see pics

At my local lowes i can get pvc coated steel pipe cut to size not very expensive I dont remember what I payed but Im always on a budget so I know it wasnt much.

thnx for the replies, i just ended up buying a 2x4 piece of wood for less than 3$...all there metal or steel pipes were like 20-30$..i kinda like the two by four better anyways cause it wont role around like a pipe would.
