Having a hard time trying to find heatsink W8.75" X L12" ive been thinking about going down to my location metal shop and purchasing 3x3 .125 cold rolled steel sheet and build the frame and heatsink around the metal. If i have to add fins and a fan becasue metal has higher density then aluminum i would, I dont know surface area and heat displacement tho could find out I wanna run the boards near max 180W, the boards run cool at 80W and im planning on running them at 300W-600W thats 75W-150W per panel 83.33% longevity of the panels. the plan is to have 12" space between all the panels and im thinking about adding some RGB in that space get the 3x3 housing unit to 700W idea is the offset will still have near 100% light in the middle, ill use this light system for 4 plants at 20-24" at the base and 4x4 grow area
Any advice on where to find good deals on aluminum heatsink would be apreciated
also are there any suppliers is canada with good RGB Stripes ? or cob rgb with drivers
