need expert advice!!

ok so im using fox farm light warrior as my soil and they started in jiffy peat pellets. the ph level of the soil is 8. i gave them some nutrients last night ( botanicare liquid karma, pure blend pro for veg and a small amount cloning solution) i just bought some super thrive and ph down. should i repot them in phed soil? and do i just throw some ph down on the soil? and if anyones used super thrive, how should i use it to help them out now?

Im really sorry to tell you but if you dont know this you have a long way to go before you grow successfully.

OK pay attention

Ph of 8 in your soil is too high
Soil should normally hang around 6.5-7.

In my personal opinion yes you should repot to better soil remove the peat pellet if you can these things suck and hold too much water.
The Ph down
to use ph down you mix it 1-100 5ml in 500ml and adjust gradually being carefull not to go too far either way as nutrients prescipitate out of the solution if it hits 4.

Super thrive
This is a plant hormone stimulant and very very strong. You only need 1drop in a gallon of water and the ph will go down heavily from adding this. You can add it at any stage of the plants life once a week.

You will need some way of testing your ph of your water before you use it. keep it to around 6.5-7.
When you water wait for the top of you soil to go dry a couple of inches down and then add enough water to get some runoff out of the bottom of your pot.

And in the mean time do some research please.

i knew it was way too high just didnt know how to down the soil correctly and wanted to confirm. but still, if i wanted to down the ph of the soil do i just pour ph down on it or mix it with water and what not?

For best results, follow the directions on the bottle.

Mix it with the water bro and you should be good

Yep, what jonamon said... also, the FF Warrior is basically a starter soil; you'll need to go to FF Ocean Forest OR.... grow in COCO! For indoor grows, you can't beat it. Do some research (Canna.com). Also, plenty of threads here from Coco growers. Want proof? Check out my grow:

i mix the following

5ml of ph down into 500ml of plain water

then i add this bit by bit into my a) nutrient solution to get it to the right ph or b) into plain water to get the required ph that i desire.

Do not add the 500ml mix of ph down and water straight into your soil you will kill your plants with too much of a low Ph.

Add this mixture into the water or nutriet you are going to give them.

I too am a coco grower.

Cant beat it feed everytime and just back off the EC if any signs of burning. also really hard to overwater when you go COCO.

thanks guys very helpful. i originally had some that were in a mix of ocean forest and light warrior with perlite but they didn't do so well so i just switched it to light warrior for the babies. im gonna go ahead and transplant when lights are off since i have to fix the box up anyways. im gonna down the soil with ph down mixed into water.last thing, should ph of 5.8 be good to down the soil to a good state since its 8? or should i aim for 6.3 would be a better choice?

i would aim for 6.5-7 most soils buffer quite well. if you are buying new soil check the ph first if you can it may already be good to go.

fa sho, i usually check there first just today i was running around getting supplies cause temps were getting to 81 as well.
