Need Flowering section idea Help

Hi all. Some of you have seen my grow and the problems that I've ran into. I plan on doing a 2 feet wide by 2 feet deep flowering space.

For none of you that never seen the problems that I had gone though. I spent $220 on a aero cloner because I had problems cloning in soil and got 0% cuttings rooted and even a guy that I know that has cloned well over 500 clones that I know of before he moved here and even he was getting 0% rooting with the same method he used before. So running around to 2 different cities to get the aero cloner built was not an option and I didn't want to take a chance of buy the stuff to build one and not know if it would work or not so i went to the local garden store and a guy that works there knows people that have cloned with it with no problems so I chose that route and know that my cuttings will root.

I have a roof repair job happening and that's costing me $3,500 to $4,000 and its Christmas present buying time.

So here's the thing. I have money put aside that I know that i can spend on 2x4 wood to build the frame for my flowering area. Now spending money besides on 2x4 wood is not an option so I need help to figure out what I can use that I can use for making a half ass way for walls so that I can get my flowering area up and running and get some buds to cover what I have spend on my grow setup.

I will be using a 70w HPS lamp and I know it won't make a tone of heat but I know it will produce heat. Don't say buy a 100w HPS or CFLs for flowering because I won't and its not an option and will never be.

I need some ideas on what I can use that I might have around the house that will block light from coming in completely or enough that my plants can flower but at the same time I need it so that hot air can get out of the flowering area. Adding a intake and exit fan is not a option either because I don't have any kind of fan laying around that could be used so its very limited to what I have to work with.

insteed of 2x4s for such a small area, you can buy 2x2 or if capable, rip the 2x4 into 2x2s.you can also buy 2x3 and rip as well. the few bucks you save can be used to buy a $2 mylar emergency blanket to line the inside walls.
you can play around w/ passive vents top & bottom.heat rises so it will pull fresh air in if you can dial in the right sized vents but a pc shop will sell you a used fan for about $5 or less & it should not be to hard to find a old xformer to power it
Dude, we are talking about under 20 bucks!! if you can't scrounge that, why are you buying a $200 cloner???? sell it for $150 & buy what you need (including better light) and make a homemade cloner.if you cant get clones started w/ $50 for materials, how do you plan on keeping a plant going?

1 - 2x4s for a space that goes up 5 feet is needed due to the weight that would have to held once the walls of it are done and things are hung up that need to be hung up.

2 - The mylar that your talking about doesn't block light from going into the flowering space for how much it would have to cover so more then 1 is needed.

3 - Why would I buy a $5+ pc fan when once my flowering spot is setup then that's $5 thrown down the drain and I don't have a old xformer kicking around and I'd rather not ask someone if they have one because that would be weird and people would be wondering what I need it for.

4 - I bought my $220 because I wasn't gonna chance on building a $50 cloner when I had problems cloning the strain trying 3 different times and each time I tried some thing different the exact same thing happened. I can't buy the plugs for a diy/home made aero cloner around here and I'm not buying growing stuff online not even to build a $50 cloner. Also why would I sell my $220 for $150 to build a $50 cloner when I was told that people with different strains haven't had problems cloning with the cloner that I bought and I got 100% the first back of clones that I took to try it out in. And at this point I'm not gonna sell a $220 cloner that I bought when I know that it works.

hey man, i agree a 2x4 is a bit much theri is smaller cheaper wood that can be used that will hold weight, but thats your call, the 2x4 will work just fine.
as for blocking light ( i know you said you dont have cash except for wood but,) panda black film is white on the inside and black on the outside, it is light proof and only about ten bucks for a 10x10 sheet of it.

the lamp your using should not get it that hot in their at all. if you have an xtra house fan you can use that on the plants, and if you can make a small door in the room that would be good cuz you can open it when the lights are on letting some heat out.

if you spend less on would you might be able to get a small fan and the panda black film, i dont know what els can be used that would work.

Hey McPurple. I still have a few house fans laying around from the summer and as for the panda black film I might have some laying around but I might have given it away if not I am going close to the hardware store so I might be able to pick up some if they carry it around here for a few dollars since I don't need a tone so they might have some small enough for what I need.
