if thay are that old you dont nead to spray the soil, just get a jug and pur till cums out the bottom then on more for 2/3 days or till pot feels light to you.Hope that helps m8

so, I can pour that much of a mixture of nutrients/water on my babys? I thought this was how I watered them, what ive been doing was spraying the soil a couple of times then watering over that to get the nutrients to soak into the soil.... is this right? If not, what do I need to do?

Matt,

You mix the nutrients in with 1/2 gallon of water and then pour that entire amount of water into your 3 gallon POT that your plant is growing in..

You are smart that you diluted it to 1/4 the recommended dosage.. but, are you even sure that your plant wants food?

How often are you watering? You need to make sure you let the soil dry out.. roots need OXYGEN too!

AND FINALLY the most important PART.. are you doing this...

Listen to GW.

What are you using for your soil mix? Most commercial mixes already have nutrients in them. Some have enough for the first 45 days of growth. If you use too much you'll burn the plants to a crisp. With more experience you'll learn to read the plants. Don't kill 'em. With nutrients, less is much better than too much.

Hey garden, thx for the reply and the link to the video. I currently test my ph the same way you do , with the drops and what not.

I assumed my plants needed food when they started showing signs of yellowing at 2 weeks of veg, Im doing hashberry and have noticed many people with problems knowing when to nute or if they even need nutes.

Right now my babies are about 3-4 inchs tall, and the bottom leaves are on some babies SOLID YELLOW, and on others a little yellow with purple tint mainly purple spots within the yellow.

So what Im going to do for my next feeding is fill up 1gal of tap water, check the ph, mix 1/6 strengh nutrients into it and feed the entire 1/2 gal of water into the 3 gal pot.

ive done white widow, bagseed, nl and have NEVER had THIS much of a problem when it comes to nutes. I was even using shultz 10-15-10 as my nutes to and STILL didnt have problems. matter of fact my white widow didnt show a problem the ENTIRE length of its life. Haha and now that I think about it, i was even using miracle grow with time released nutes in it for the ww/nl/and bagseed.

I guess hashberry is just a elites type of baby to grow :/

I think ima do my remaining hashberry seeds outside.

by the way gnome your book looks awesome and if you dont mind me asking have you made a good profit from your efforts.

thanks and god bless :joint::peace::joint:

Hey Bro..

1. i have not made a cent from the book.. not yet
2. if your plant is 2 weeks old... it should not need nutrients..
3. the leaves sound like something is wrong with your ph or you are over watering and the roots are suffocating.... they do not sound like they need food..
4. can you post a picture?
5. pH your water AFTER your add the nutrients.. the nutrients will AFFECT your waters pH..

cheers

hey man have you thought about ading it in some of the weed mags? like hightimes weedworld, etc?

Well my babies r 3 weeks old now, but thats when i gave them 1/4 nut VERY little like I sprayed the top of the soil like 5 times , pretty much just dusted the top layer and then watered over that. The leaves were VERY yellow at this time, like I woke up and boom super yellow leaves , it helped THEN, but the last few times it seems it has made it worse.

Since My last post, i flushed my babies out real good, and they HAVE improved, still some yellowing on the leaves. Their all pretty tall now and I dont want them to be come giants, so here in a couple of days they gonna start the fun stage of their life.

wow, thx to the dude who posted the link to the mandala site, which I never even THough about checking out, i read that their strains will allow the first to set of true leaves to completely yellow and fall off naturally, I took this as a sign as needing nutrients and this messed stuff up! The only reason tho , is b.c of the other babies I have gotten to live with before.

thx everyone :)Z
