Need help cfl ballast?

I just go a lighting fixture for my 125w cfl. but ive been having trouble finding a ballast for a 125w cfl light the lowest I've found is one for 150w. the question i have is this is the ballast watt rating the max that it can handle or the only watt light bulb that its made for? the lighting fixture is made by apollo horticulture, any recomendations on what ballast i should get is apriciated.

I should also point out that this problem arose because the seller sent me the wrong fixture. i was also under the impression that cfl's did not need a ballast is this true?

Yeah, I think with the 4 pin fittings they're not self ballast'd. Is yours a pin fitting??? Best bet is grab another fixture, E40 and grab a E40 bulb.

ok so i found the problem they did send me the wrong fixture i ordered one for cfl but they sent me one for hps/mh (gull wing 8 aluminum reflector)
