Need Help Determining Harvest Time (trichome pics included)

I've finally gotten good at growing MJ. My grows progress very well from start to finish.

My problem is that I always seem to find a way to harvest too late. I have lens implants in my eyes, and although I see pretty well, I have a hard time seeing small things up close, even with reading glasses. I had been trying to use a 30-40x loupe. But my last grow of AK47 went past optimum harvest time because I couldn't see amber trichomes through the loupe. Then I bought a 90x USB microscope, which showed way too many amber trichomes for my taste (I prefer about 10% amber trichomes). So I ended up harvesting too late. By then the buds had lost some stickyness and smell.

So I currently have a nice grow going of Herijuana (from seeds bought from Sannie's). They are on day 60 of flowering. They are advertised to flower in 49-63 days.
Here are some trichome pics taken with the USB microscope last night. Are they clear enough to show amber trichomes?

I also have a hard time with my eyes distinguishing between clear and cloudy trichomes.

What do you think about these pics? Are my plants near harvest time?

I'd say you are real close. Maybe go ahead and chop but I don't think a few days will hurt either.

I'm a newb...but I know colors.....where do you see amber? I only see clear and cloudy on a few....but I am no master jedi

all information in this post is purely fictional and must be taken as such.

I'm a newbie too, i agree, need to wait until the tricomes are turning amber, but cloudy ok for more of a head buzz, wait for amber to get more of a body hit.

You must be blind, look at the calyx on the interior of the bud...
Amber Trichomes are bad mmmkay? You want mostly cloudy with the least amount of clear/amber possible.

A full plant picture would justify my opinion!

I see enough amber to tell me it's @ or past peak potency, let it degrade more if you want.

Trichome change color during the cure; some cloudy will turn amber + some clear will turn cloudy.

Trichomes that were amber + transparent will become dark.

If you had bud that's been in a jar for more than 2-3 months, you'd know!
