Fox Farms Ocean Forest for the soil. It has all the nutrients you need for 30 days. After that, just transplant them to bigger pots and start them on a Fox Farms nutrient schedule (Big Bloom or Tiger Bloom or both are highly suggested around here). Make sure to cut off the nutrients a week or two before harvest and give them only dechlorinated water (tap water left in open air for 24+ hours).

I assume you mean 100 watt equivalent lights (usually 23 watts fluorescent). If so, you will want the 6500 spectrum for vegetative. This info is often listed on the back of the package, near the UPC. 6500K for veg, 2700K for flower.

For your space (2'x4'=8' square) you will want at least 24,000 lumens. You can get away with much less, but the quality of the buds will suffer. 24,000 lumens = about 15 of those 23 watt lights. It can get costly that way. May want to look into a cheap 150 - 250 watt HPS.

Ventialtion will also be an issue. You need to make sure the heat gets vented out of the grow area and fresh air gets introduced. What is your setup like for that?

Man i'm so confused on why ppl love to pay big money for liquid nutrients, I guess its just convinence most ppl just don't want to mix their own special nute blend I spose.
100 watts all together? or 4 separate bulbs of 100 watts a piece? with the later.. 400 you should be able to do well in that amount of space.:fire:
