Need Help Growing Clones!!

Alright, since I pretty much crashed and burned with my first attempt, I want to make sure I get everything right the second time around...

I have a closet grow room set up; it's 2X2X6, and I have a 250W MH lamp with a reflective dome. I have a fan going on to reduce the temperature of the light, and myler's all around. At MOST I'm growing four plants, but realistically, it's going to be just two plants.

I'm purchasing clones from clinics, but I really don't know what to do beyond that. Do I ditch the MH lamp for the vegetative stage and use CFLs; do I transplant the clones from rock wool to soil? I know it's a lot to ask, but I don't want to buy clones and screw up again. I know there's FAQs and guides all around, trust me, I've done research, but I'd appreciate any guidance for my setup. Thanks!

If you get good clones, as in they already have a pretty good root mass, then you just throw the rockwool cube in whatever medium you are using, then you can throw it under the MH...usually though, they only have a few roots popping out if any, in which case you can just leave them in the rockwool for the time being and throw them under some cfls, or just raise your MH so as not to give them too much light
