5 inch will be fine !, maybe even 4inch but if u go with 5inch then the pull u loose via carbon filter wont b as bad as u will av a 5 inch, around 350cfm loose 15/20% of that via filter u will av enough left to rid the hot air and smell from ur grow space !!!
