Need help on when to harvest

I have 4 plants right now all on their 5th week of 12/12, they showed sex almost a month before I flowered them and starting developing buds rather quickly after 12/12, not a lot of stretch time.

The buds are rather swollen and a lot of the trichs on 3/4 of the plants are turning cloudy/amber with very few clear, my question is, could they be ready much sooner than 8-10 weeks?

The 3 that are showing this trait are almost entirely indica plants, one slightly sativa, and one completely sativa...

My problem right now, is about 2 weeks ago when I wasnt home, the power turned on and off about 5 times apparently due to the weather....so, as you guess, I now somewhere have a small hermie, cause some of the calyx's on a number of the plants are definately developing seeds :(

I know it sucks but I cant find any sign of a hermie, all the buds are nice and covered in trichs, so the breakout is very small, not full blown thank god.

I just don't want it to continue to the point where a good ammount of the bud has seeds...so the sooner the better at this point...No point in killing them this far in with a small enough breakout.

If anyone has good pics of trich colors, or just any experience of when I can harvest soon it would be most helpful for me to make my decision.

Thanks.

I would say even given the circumstances you should only harvest when the hairs are over 70% red, and/or the trichomes are maturing i.e. cloudy or exploded heads. Since you didn't mention the hairs i am going to assume they are still very white and the plant is far from mature. Stick with her and she will still produce a decent smoke. No sense in scrapping the project. Just make sure you start right back over as soon as she does mature. You don't want to waste any time

Thanks for the input, the arn't quite there yet, I was going to give them about a week and a half and consider chopping, yea the hairs are like 75% white and probably 15-20% of the red ones are cause of seeds in certain places :(

A HUGE majority of the bud has white hairs and no seeds so I'm going to keep them going till almost all the hairs turn red, hopefully that doesn't take a long long time, 2 of the plants are fattening real nice and the trichs are turning amber on the cola leaves. Though it seems the NL plant I have that seems to have pretty mature trichs on the leaves is showing the main cola still is growing a lot...though this plant in particular is showing a great deal of 50/50 sativa/indica and is more sensitive to the PH of the water than any of the other plants..

I presume around 1-2 weeks for the two straight indica, 2-3 for the NL, and probably 4-5 for the almost pure sativa plant in there...

I'd rather have a bunch of good bud with a few seeds than none at all, and hopefully next grow won't have any interruptions from the weather...

Take what you can get I suppose,

Thanks

The flowers look like a 5th week I would go all the way to 8 full weeks bro
Sweet those pics are 6 days, well 7 days old in about 6 hours.

I think theres one real indica one there, all the trichs are white and amber and about 40% of the hairs are red, so I'll give that one a week or two till I consider it.

One thing though, it looks like a couple of them are still developing the tip tops of the colas, should I give another dose of flowering ferts before I flush them? And since only a couple look like they're still growing longer colas while the others are becoming much more fat than tall should I skip giving them any ferts at all while they work off whats left in the soil and in the big leaves?
